Driving: Much work has been done to the Pacific Highway, making for a more enjoyable drive. Whenever driving long distances, driver fatigue should be avoided by sharing the driving and taking rest breaks every 2 hours. With breaks, Coffs Harbour is about a 6.5 hour drive from Sydney, and a 5 hour drive from Brisbane.
Buses: Buses arrive in Coffs Harbour regularly at the Bus Depot located on the the Pacific Highway and can offer a convenient, budget way of getting there. Most bus companies located on the east coast of Australia have a regular service to Coffs Harbour.
Train: There is a train station located in Coffs Harbour with daily services to and from Sydney and Brisbane (with stopovers in between). For fare and timetable information visit the NSW Government’s Countrylink web site.
Flights: All the major Australian airlines Qantas, Jetstar, Tiger Airways and Virgin Australia fly daily to Coffs Harbour. Unfortunately there are limited direct flights per week; most flights have a short stopover in Sydney.
